For the presence of the Saint Benedict's grave, heart of the Monastery, the commission chosen by the public works Ministry consented to the reconstruction of the Monastery on the original site. Therefore the original plant dated back to the 1500s could be kept even though it would be improved and made more praticable with the renovation of the three main cloisters: Paradise, Prelate and Benefactors.

Don Angelo Pantoni supplied an awesome amount of documentation so that the renovation would be as correct as possible with the layouts and altrimetric readings that he personally performed at the end of the 1930s. Engineer Giuseppe Breccia Fratadocchi who was responsible for the technical work for the reconstruction, used this documentation.
